Class Description: In this 3 hour hands on class, presented by Editor of American Cake Decorating Magazine, Rebekah Wilbur, learn the fundamentals of cake photography. Learn about basic camera set-ups, the benefits of variable and prime lenses, ISO settings, white balance, aperture, depth of field, and manual and automatic shooting. Learn how to stage your cakes, shoot in both natural and artificial light and create easy and effective backdrops. Maximize your home space, and make effective home and on-location setups for shooting your cakes. Finally, learn the basics of photo-editing with Adobe Lightroom, add watermarks to your images; learn how to install and use presets and how to submit your work for online and print publication.

Supplies Needed: Students with DSLR camera’s are welcome to bring them to class. All students should bring a notepad and pen to make class notes. Handouts will be provided.
